Tom has 20 years of experience in R&D, spanning mechanical engineering to molecular biotechnology. He was most recently leading translational biomedical research into nucleic acid technology at Harvard’s Wyss Institute, pushing the limits of DNA programmability and behavior. His work led to new tools for scientific exploration and protein and molecular diagnostics, as well as numerous patents and academic publications.

Tom holds BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana, and an MD and a PhD from Northwestern University.

He is a scientific co-founder of 3EO Health.
